Gill Brooks Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Editable bracket shape I would love to see this addition to Affinity (was "Quick Frame" in CA2) Quote

Your asset packs are great, but Affinity assets aren’t anywhere near as easily adjustable as the DrawPlus/CraftArtist QuickShapes. (The latter are somewhat similar to the Shape Tool shapes in the Affinity apps.) Gill Brooks Posted January 29, 2024 Author Posted January 29, 2024 I've made my own assets thank you by importing shapes that I've made using CA2 but I would prefer the ability to make new ones directly in Affinity. Alfred 1 Quote

The more Shape Tools, the better, as far as I’m concerned. PaulEC Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 I really hate it when people complain that something in DrawPlus isn't in AD, but, I do miss some of the Quick Shapes, especially the Wave and the Zigzag! (It would be even better if you could apply waves/zigzags to any shape or line.) DrawPlus is Serif’s original hybrid vector/raster application. Like all of the ‘Plus’ range, it only runs on Windows. CraftArtist — aimed at crafters and card makers — was developed from DrawPlus, introducing some useful features such as ‘smart’ frames that allow the user to drag and drop a picture onto a frame (or vice versa) with the picture automatically adjusting to snap into the frame. I know, though I've only sometimes used Serif's PagePlus in past times on Win, as I used Xara & CD for other stuff mostly there. I freely admit to having Craft Artist 2 installed on my current PC and still often using it! I did use Draw Plus and Photo Plus many years ago Alfred 1 Quote
