Lobivia Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 Hi from France, I have defined a Preset for exporting files. In "File Settings" I chose "All pages" and I checked "Preview export…"; in advanced I "Use document resolution"; finally I "create preset" under the name CFstorage. It works well until I quit Publisher. If I quit Publisher, and then re-launch Publisher, using my "CFstorage" export preset shows "All spreads" instead of "All pages"; the other presettings are as expected. I need to change "All spreads" to "all pages" at any restart of Publisher. It seems that the "all pages" preset is not stored upon "Create preset"… After quiting, the default "all spreads" is systematic upon restart of Publisher. Mac OS 14.2.1, M1 processor. Cheers, PS: sorry for my "Frenglish" 😉 Quote
Hangman Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 Hi @Lobivia, I believe this issue is the same or related to a bug logged as AF-86... Lobivia Posted January 25, 2024 Author Posted January 25, 2024 Maybe that my problem is related to AF-86, but it is different… provided that I understand your answer to AF 86! NB: I am a beginner with Publisher!!! Quote
Hangman Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 The bug relates to the Export Area not being remembered between exports and also applies to creating Presets, at least that's my understanding... I mentioned in the thread that: "This is even the case when creating a Custom Preset using 'Whole Document', the 'Whole Document part is excluded from the Preset when selecting it..." Though if it's deemed to be a different issue, someone at Serif will log it as such, I really just wanted to highlight it as it sounds very similar... Staff NathanC Posted January 25, 2024 Staff Posted January 25, 2024 Hi @Lobivia, This Export Area recall issue is currently logged with the developers as Hangman has referenced, i'll bump the existing issue with your report. 🙂 Hangman 1 Quote
Lobivia Posted January 25, 2024 Author Posted January 25, 2024 Thanks to both of you! 🙂 I consider that the problem is now under work by the developers! Hangman 1 Quote
