Designer Resize Canvas Crashing

When I choose to resize a document and select the ‘measurement options’ eg: point, cm, inches etc the program crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It seems to work OK for me. Note that you are resizing the Canvas (as you say in the title), not the Document (as you say in the post). But both seem to work.

What is the current size of your canvas, and have you made any changes in that dialog other than changing the units?

I frequently experience this. 

My workflow is:

• export to Designer as PSD from Procreate.
• go to resize canvas to inches (may crash on selection)
• click the “confirm” checkmark (might crash here)

After this, designer is really unstable, even after restarting iPad. This doesn’t happen every time, but frequently enough that it’s irritating and kills my productivity.

iPad Pro M1, everything up to date.

Thanks for your report & our apologies for the delayed response over the holidays!

I can confirm our team are aware of issues with the resize controls causing crashing in Affinity for iPad and these have been logged with our developers to be resolved ASAP.

I'll be sure to 'bump' these reports with your thread now, to bring it to their attention once more.

The issue "[iOS] Changing Resize settings breaks UI or crashes app" (REF: AF-912) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2279".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
