Hangman
I don't believe this issue is specific to the bug fix in the latest Beta 2.3.0.2119: Quote Cannot delete Document or Application Palettes, option is greyed out or prompt does not show. [AF-1108] In v1.10.6 and v2.1.1 it is possible to delete System Palettes from the Swatches Panel but In the current Beta, the option to Delete a System Palette is greyed out. The only way to delete a System Palette in the current Beta is to delete it using v2.1.1 or v1.10.6. Staff Chris B Posted November 16, 2023 Staff Share Posted November 16, 2023 To clarify, we think you should only be allowed to delete user-added System Preferences. Not the ones there by default from Apple. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Affinity shouldn't "mess" with system-wide parameters. 3 hours ago, Hangman said: The only way to delete a System Palette in the current Beta is to delete it using v2.1.1 or v1.10.6. On Mac, you can always delete a system palette within Affinity via Window → Apple Color Picker. You can even open the Apple Color Picker in any app you want by using this AppleScript one-liner: tell current application to choose color (No idea how it works on Windows.) Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted November 21, 2023 Staff Share Posted November 21, 2023 The issue "[macOS] Unable to delete System Palettes on macOS" (REF: AF-1223) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2150". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
