This is a sometimes happening thing. I will be applying my Master Page "Chapter Start" to an Actual Page and I will see the name in the Master Page Panel and the dialog box is changed to Master A. I made the Chapter Start page after making other Master Pages and then dragged it to the top of the Pages panel. Only happens occasionally, and If I change it there is still no guarantee that the name will stick.

This is not an occurrence which only happens with a template file but I have noticed it while working files made with this one most often.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Could you explain this a bit more?

Are you applying the master page by dragging it onto the page in the Pages panel or by right-clicking the page thumbnail and choosing Apply Master?

Where are you seeing the Master A name? And is it really changing names or is it just a glitch in the dialog?

It is highly intermittent, to record a video I would need to record for a few hours. I am not going to do that. I believe that it is mostly a cosmetic issue but it is disconcerting. Seems to happen if I have more than one document open each of which has multiple master pages which I have named and also changed their locations in the Master Pages part of the pages panel. So for example the third Master I make gets moved from its original position to the top.

Perhaps, once the problem happens, could you go back in the History panel and reproduce it?

Good Idea, but I don't recall there being an entry. I will keep this in mind though. Thanks.

Indeed I was just thinking about the possibility to go back in history to see if it happened again and if it does, then to record it in a short video…
