Text in Shape - Autosize shape & corner radius cannot be changed?

Hi, I want to create text inside a shape and was wondering if Affinity offers tools to automatically resize the shape to the length of the text? I have created a rectangle and changed its corners to have a 5mm radius, this radius cannot be changed after adding text to the shape. Are there any alternatives?

Right now, I the best thing I could think of was this, but that won't have an autosize option for sure.

It's a bit unfortunate that I can't add decorations like these to the text.

Use a Rounded Rectangle and Layer > Convert to text Frame

With the object selected AND the Rounded Rectangle Tool selected you can change the corner radius

Not sure why you converted it to a curve

With the Shape Text layer selected, double clicking the bottom-middle node will resize the shape to fit the text

Do not convert the frame to curves.

Instead you may select the text frame with the Node Tool (or activate the text frame with the Text Tool + switch to the Node Tool + click the frame again) to make the Corner Radius handle + options available for this text frame.
