Text not appearing after 2.2 update?

Hi, had been doing lots of work on publisher before the 2.2 update, but after updating to 2.2, text is not appearing when I create a text box?  The opacity is set to 100% in both color and text layer.  Have attached a file to show this if anyone can help!

Hi @wwdileii and welcome to the forums.

I can see the word Hello when I open your document so the problem is with your display and not with text in text frames.

Could you share a screenshot of your performance settings? On Windows choose Edit > Preferences. On macOS, choose Affinity Publisher 2 > Settings. Click Performance in the left pane.

If you have hardware acceleration enabled try turning that off and seeing if that makes a difference.

Thanks so much for that, I went there and disabled OpenCL acceleration and it worked!  Thanks for that tip, saved a lot of head banging!

I'm having problems too... the text shows but not the text box - started off okay but getting worse

Without more info (e.g., screenshots of the complete application window, screen recordings) we're unlikely to be able to provide more than MikeTO suggested above already.

Do you have View > Show Text Flow selected?

I think there is a known issue where bounding boxes do not show at times

Refreshing the screen (zoom in/out) I think cures it temporarily

It has been reported many times but not sure if logged as an official bug as yet (search the forum for updates)
