Adjustment Panels not shown in Fullscreen Mode

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

didn't find any Informations in the Forum.

When I use Affinity Photo V2 in full screen mode, the Adjustment Panels do not appear.
Only when I shrink the window do the Panels appear.

I don't have the problem with Affinity Photo V1.

AP V2 and MacOS on the Mini M1 are up to date.
Reinstalling AP V2 did not solve the problem.

Does somebody has any idea?

Thanks and regards

Michael

Are you referring to the Separated Mode for V1 ? This is no longer available in V2 for Macs. I'm not aware of any Full Screen command in the Affinity apps.

In Windows there was no Separated Mode. Instead we use Windows>Float. The windows can then be resized to your liking.

Can you post screenshots or a screen recording of what you are seeing and note what you are not seeing and where you would expect to see it.

On Macs, clicking the green 'traffic light' window control button at the top left of any app window will put it in full screen mode. This also can be done in most Mac apps from a menu item (like "Enter Full Screen" on the View menu in Safari or "Toggle Full Screen" in the AP 2 Window menu) or with a keyboard shortcut (generally CTRL-CMD-F).

I am not sure that the OP means by "Adjustment Panels" (plural) but in full screen mode floating (undocked) panels won't be visible, so if any panels aren't visible in that mode  it is probably because they are not docked to either the left or right studio.

@R C-R @markw

thanks for the better description.
It's not always easy to describe a problem correctly in a foreign language.

This is what I meant by Adjustment Panel(s):

For example HSL Panel

But..... today the update to 2.2.0 came out and, what can I say, the problem no longer seems to exist.
