KCP Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 When I make a selection in Photo and copy and paste it, I get a new layer with the entire image on it. I've also tried Ctl-J, which also gives me a complete image. Please advise. Quote

KCP Posted August 26, 2023 Author Posted August 26, 2023 Thanks, Carl. I just realized that the image I was trying this with was placed and needed to be rasterized. Quote

Because you cannot access individual pixels from an Image layer. It is a container, with its own capabilities and operational rules.
