KCP
When I make a selection in Photo and copy and paste it, I get a new layer with the entire image on it. I've also tried Ctl-J, which also gives me a complete image. Please advise.
carl123
Right-click the Layer and select Rasterise then do the selection & copy & paste Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. KCP
Thanks, Carl. I just realized that the image I was trying this with was placed and needed to be rasterized.

Because you cannot access individual pixels from an Image layer. It is a container, with its own capabilities and operational rules.
