Baniola Posted July 23, 2023 Share Posted July 23, 2023 I had to switch to beta software due to the crashes of Publisher on Sonoma Beta. Now the software doesn't crash but the tabs in the left and right studio stopped working. There have been a number of reports of the studio and tab issues with Sonoma. Serif has replied that Affinity is not yet compatible with Sonoma. While you're welcome to test it on Sonoma you'll have to revert to Ventura for production work. I expect Serif will have this sorted out before Sonoma is publicly released. We are actively logging issues against Sonoma, however, in its current state it is effectively unusable and we do not recommend attempting to use it for production work. Baniola Posted July 24, 2023 Author Share Posted July 24, 2023 Strane is that Designer and Photo works flawlessly only Publisher have problems. In my case. I signed up for Publisher Beta some bugs (like crashing) are gone and new came (studio panels). I got one strange message from OS "You are using old and depreciated API: null" or similar. This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
