Yes, correct. Any change to the embedded file causes you cannot save the file which could bring you to a very bad situation. If you place the file at the beginning of your work and spend a long time adding extras and the end you cannot save your file. The workaround is to open the file in a separate window edit it there and just copy and paste modifications to the first file.

Yes, it is reproducible: 1. Create a new document and save it under the name you choose. 2. Use the place command to place artwork (EPS skater in my example) 3. Choose edit placed image and make any small changes; it reflects just fine in the main document 4. Document cannot be saved anymore

I use the default setting for Print. Export fails for Pandorina... and Pribehy...

The document doesn't contain special fonts or linked files. I prefer embedded. All documents were created with version 2. I have 3 documents 2 of them stalled in export and one works OK.

Better private DropBox place, please. I have one which works and two which doesn't. I use Beta 2.2.0 latest build.

Filesize on disk is 3.1MB (Publisher format) Page format is A5 number of pages is 111. I tried export spread, separate pages, and several PDF formats with the same outcome. The file so far doesn't contain images only text in text frames. I allowed Publisher to access the folder (namely the Document folder) to write to.

I cannot export work to PDF. Generating a preview take forever, and if I skip waiting and choose export, got a message that the file cannot be created. See attachment.

Your update fixed the problem for me. Now Publisher doesn't crash, and tabs are accessible.

Strane is that Designer and Photo works flawlessly only Publisher have problems. In my case. I signed up for Publisher Beta some bugs (like crashing) are gone and new came (studio panels). I got one strange message from OS "You are using old and depreciated API: null" or similar.

I had to switch to beta software due to the crashes of Publisher on Sonoma Beta. Now the software doesn't crash but the tabs in the left and right studio stopped working. I'm unable to select panels only workaround is to go to the Window menu and deactivate and activate the tab to get focus on it.
