Reequest: Include plug-in APIs for Photo personalities

Recommended Posts

Affinity Photo does some Photoshop plug-ins. (I’m making this request now because Mister Retro’s Permanent Press and Machine Wash now count Among those that work —hooray!)

However, that functionality doesn’t exist in either Publisher or Designer, even in the Photo persona. And strangely, if you’re in the Photo persona in either of those, the Filters menu has a pop-out submenu where those plug-ins would appear off they were supported.

Could we get Photoshop plug-in functionality in the Photo persona of Designer and Publisher, please?

Just FYI, there is no Photo Persona in Designer. It's in Photo and Publisher, only. But as you've noted, the plug-in functionality is missing in Publisher, even though the Photo Persona is there.

Not per se but there is the Pixel persona.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Which is not nearly the same as the Photo Persona.
