Redraw issue - Show all / unhide all layers doesn't work properly

in this example I'm using Designer 2.1.1. I have many layers on the background, I used shortcut ctrl+H to "hide others". Then, I used ctrl+shift+H to show everything again, nothing happens. panning the view, still nothing. zooming in or out fixes the problem. In windows I was using picture in picture addon for a video, using MS Edge.

On my set-up, which I’m fairly sure has the default keyboard shortcuts, Ctrl+Shift+H is set to “Show Others” not “Show All”, which is Ctrl+Shift+Alt+H - see attached image.

When you say “show everything again”, which are you trying to use?

Note: Videos (and screenshots) which don’t show the full screen are much less useful than those which don’t show the full screen. I realise that being able to get full-screen video could be a problem but the more you can show us the better.

I used "Show others" on both Designer 2 and Photo 2. This issue is consistent in my pc. And thanks to you I found the other bug using "Show All". This shortcut works but I had to press 2 times; at first it deselects the selection if there is a selection, and then at second press it shows everything. Do this; have many objects, select one and use Ctrl+H to hide others, then without doing anything else use the shortcut "Show All".

I can confirm that this isn’t working the way I would expect.

After adding five differently-coloured rectangles I selected one, then used Ctrl+H to hide all but the selected rectangle.

I then used Ctrl+Shift+Alt+H and nothing happened; the canvas didn’t change and the four hidden layers in the Layers Panel remained hidden.

I then used Ctrl+Shift+H and, in the Layers Panel, all of the layers are now not hidden but only two of the hidden rectangles reappeared on the canvas. I had to zoom in a bit to get the other rectangles to also appear.

I tried similar things with the menu versions of the shortcuts (where available) and got the same results.

See attached video – Ctrl+H, then Ctrl+Shift+Alt+H, then Ctrl+Shift+H.

This is a known re-draw issue affecting the layers below in the stack, zooming in/out will correctly draw the objects in again.
This is something that has been previously logged with the developers.

as you mentioned another user posted similar for Mac users, so let's say it's also happening in windows 10 and 11 (tried both.
