  1. I also noticed this and here's the example; in this case I have 2 frames (bottom left, closed object) which is in the boundary of one group(the red line which is also a closed object) and one picture. Here's the layer's statuses; edit all layers is enabled. Frames, outlines(red line) and the pictures are in their own group, the outline group is locked. The hidden curve doesn't belong to any layer. My target is to select the frames only. But as shown above, even switching to "Select object when intersects with selection marquee(hold RMB after hold LMB)" is not working. Any help?
  2. here's the mess please add arrangement features (not distribution) Reordering pages change stacking (2x2,2x3,3x3 artboards etc...) easier Artboard selection if you don't want to edit across layers
  3. ALT + Drag select Ignores initial object or layer below cursor. But after selection, ALT + Drag select actually copies the object but this operation is already added to CTRL with Snapping option, that could be turned off with Alt key again. So instead It would be nice If Alt + Drag Select does the same "Ignores initial object or layer below cursor" operation, without going outside of the current selection
  4. here's the example. How to delete this image's areas that fell outside of the canvas? Is there an option for the marquee tool to include outside of the canvas when creating a selection?
  5. this is a topic for improving windows hotkeys for affinity... I'm a fan of windows hotkeys so can you improve some hotkeys?... i.e. can you change this to "C" letter instead of "L" ?
  6. It is doable until exporting all layers. because this file is from PDF and it is also a bit technical; it has pictures, tables, text and numbers... so I can edit the picture, crop it by masking etc. but when I want to export it is not that fast and easy, either I have to create a slice for many pictures or hide the layers that I don't want to export, or export all layers then delete them in the folder.
  7. Is it possible to batch save/export many tabs(seperate projects) as common filetypes( jpg,png,tiff...) in affinity photo? I'm opening a pdf that has many pictures inside so I seperate and edit each picture on a new tab/project. so instead of using save as command over and over again I need a better solution for this. any help?
  8. the new version (2.2.1.2075) solved the issue at least by allowing me to click MMB again to stop the pan mode. could be better if it cancels the trigger though. thanks
  9. here's another update, it seems this problem isn't related to a tablet. with any device that has "middle mouse button" you can replicate this. But I forgot to say that you have to hold MMB and alt+tab. to get out of this situation you have to scroll the mouse wheel. and for the tablet devices, the problem starts from here because, the pen doesn't have a scroll wheel so you can't get out of this situation. tried this also with the 2.2.1.2052 version
  10. tested again so the issue is actually worse and really easy to make. also I recreated this issue with a regular mouse. steps are easy; open blank document press and hold MMB and move press alt+tab to any other window go back to affinity photo you'll see that your mouse gets stuck at panning the view and you can't exit from this tool even you switch to any other tool, they don't also work anyways.
  11. this is a rare issue but when it happens I have to reopen the program. I am not sure how this is happening this time but my guesses are; when switching to another window and coming back when going to any other panel inside affinity i.e. adjusting perspective tool when doing all above by panning with your pen. ( my pen's middle button is binded to middle click) quick specs: using windows 10, wacom one tablet, affinity photo 2.2.0.2005(beta)
  12. I believe if Affinity adds this feature it will save many clicks(and time). Many advanced printers have a feature that lets you scan/print a document with your saved preference. You know this makes your life easier, it can be added to Affinity like for... 4K texture grayscale exports for texturing Bump maps, Single page PDF export OR flat PDF export, you name it, this can be adjusted to your workflow but with 1 click you have your Export settings ready. the difference from v2 export presets is the presets are in the submenu of a main filetype like PNG > Presets> PNG Grayscale. I'm suggesting to use a similar interface from v1 Export on top of existing v2 export panel, like I mentioned in many printers. so you have your detailed settings but also your favourite presets on top of this panel.
