Affinity Photo *.exe file

Good morning.  I wish to use Irfanview and from its file menu I could choose to open in an external editor.  prior to AP version 2 I could guide ifanview to open AP.exe  in program files. At the moment I cannot find the AP.exe file to use with irfanview can anybody point me to where it resides please?  Win11.  Cheers John

You can use the aflauch.exe tool instead, see therefor ...

@v_kyr You beat me to it. 🙂 Maybe the Aliases aren’t relevant… I haven’t set up another app to open Affinity files.

Maybe, depends on what APh installment (MSIX vs MSI installer) the OP has initially used.

Not really as IrfanView is pretty flexible and customizable here, especially when used together with (or from inside of) a filemanager & access tool like TotalCommander!

My comment was a general one. Some third-party applications can work with the Execution Aliases, but most can't.

That's why some "man in the middle apps" like that "aflaunch" and similar tools do exist, they should perform (call) the right rerouting executions here then.
