Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help with my printing, no matter what I print from affinity designer v1 it never prints exactly what I see on the screen, it has a white border all around using Artboards or not. Can anyone shed any light on what I am doing wrong?

Hi @stitchingfairy and welcome to the forums,

The first obvious question would be, what printer are you printing to and does your printer support edge-to-edge printing as not all printers do?

Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3
MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Furthermore, even if your printer does support ‘borderless’ printing you may need to configure it specifically to do so.

I don't know where to set it on the iPad.
In Windows, the option to print borderless is in the printer driver settings and is shown there as the "Borderless" selection option.

And yes, it depends on the printer whether it can print borderless.
