See the Lensfun database (which APh uses), according to that a "Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm f/4.0 PRO" is already supported, though no vignetting ...

Thanks' for the reply but the lens is not listed as supported in Affinity Photo 2.1.1

Can you share one of your RAW images with us?

You're looking at the "develop" list (daily build), not the latest released version (3.3), I think. I don't see it in the released list, which is what Serif is probably using (though they might have grabbed the develop version when they built 2.1.0.

Since it's in develop, that should mean that users can get the info from the database and install into Affinity Photo themselves, though.

There's no need for this, you can fetch Olympus RAW samples shot with that lense already from here if some are needed ...

That's why I referenced the Lensfun repository here, people can at least update lensdata themselves!

It's all a bit odd
I noticed that this lens was missing when I trialed the V2 version back in November, thinking that the lensfun download had gone awry I wrote this query
https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/172674-issue-with-the-lensfun-data-transfer-for-photo-v2-which-is-quite-recent-nov-2022/#comment-990704

I can't find a list of supported cameras/lenses later than 19 September 2022 but I'm staggered that it's not available in V2.1.1
I suspect that not many people with this lens use Photo for raw development, I certainly don't
Anyway, at least you're fixed

It would be interesting to ask the other Affinity users whether the 8-25 lens is available in their versions. I consider the raw abilities of Photo to be one of its weakest features, if I only had Photo for raw development I'd go back to shooting jpegs

Thanks, but I prefer samples from the user having the discussion, to make sure I see what they are seeing.

Also, the issue might be that the camera embedded the lens info incorrectly, or that the user specified the lens info incorrectly, so having an image from the camera in question can provide useful information for diagnosing the problem.

I don't have a profile for my 8-25mm/4 lens, but use the 7-14mm/2.8 with usable results. In the meantime, I no longer have an M43 system, but only use my Nikon Z6II camera and some Nikon lenses. Although the result of the develop persona is not so bad but is the weakest part of the affinity photo.

but I have no idea where the Lens profile folder is located in Windows. Can anyone give me a steer?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

In Photo, Edit > Settings and click the button at the bottom of the dialog.

I am a little curious where the XML file came from too?

Usually they have been downloaded from the Lensfun database, which is what Serif pulls the data from periodically.
