Bryce
In Affinity 1 I could command+~ to switch between open documents. that doesn't seem to work in Affinity 2. Is there way to implement that? I can't seem to find it in the shortcuts.
R C-R
AFAIK, in both V1 & V2 of the apps CMD & plus or minus zooms in & out, not switch among open documents. To cycle among views or documents CMD + ` (Command & the grave accent) & CMD +Shift +` are (I think) the defaults in all of them. The shortcuts can be found or set in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts > {app name} > Miscellaneous for the "Switch to Next View' & Switch to Previous View" items. For whatever reason they do not show up in the View > Views menu item & of course the submenu for that is empty unless more than one view or document is open. BTW, if you do a web search on "backtick" (another name for this accent mark) you can get more info about such things as where to find it on various keyboards. Bryce
That is exactly what I needed. ctrl+tab in Affinity 2 does the same thing as command+` in version 1 I'm on Ventura and don't actually see how to change this in Affinity because I would prefer to the version 1 method just because that's what I've done for years as the MacOS standard. @thomaso I have mine setup the exact same way. In fact, the only app this does not work in (that I have checked) is Affinity 2. I have to use ctrl+tab now. If there is a way to change it in v2.1 I'll try it out. Oufti
On Mac: Ctrl-Tab is supposed to move to the next open tab (+ shift for the last one). Cmd-`is supposed to move to the next open window (only document windows, not dialogs or tool panels). In certain situations, e.g. when there is only one open window with different tabs, these shortcuts can sometimes be substituted, as for Affinity software but not for all apps. — Here, on Monterey with APub 2.1.1., both shortcuts jump to the next document when I have one window and many documents opened. Works the same for me running Catalina, in V1 & V2 of all 3 Affinity apps.
