How can I update (Affinity Designer) to 2.1?

Using AD 2.0.4.61, Mac Mini M2, Ventura

In the support section it sais:

Quote

If you’ve purchased from the Affinity Store—each time you start the software it will check for updates and offer any available update, or in the application main menu there is an option Check for Updates.

It doesn't check for update at the start...

I can't find this item in any menu...

Thanks

For instance in V1: There is an app preference option where a checking period can be selected … or entirely disabled:

Even if set to "Never" you can run a check manually via the application menu at any time:

@D.VE: In the Affinity Designer 2 menu, do you have Check for Updates available as an option?

If not, you probably installed from the Mac App Store, not from the Affinity Store.

If you have that option, what do you get when you click it?

As @walt.farrell mentioned the AppStore version of Designer 2 does not have the option to check for updates from within the app, please open the AppStore and in the Purchase section check their is an option to update Designer 2.
