Loading PDFs into Affinity Designer not rendering objects

Hi atrueresistance,

There seems to be something strange happening with this PDF file as it renders in Illustrator the same way it does in Affinity. I will log this with our developers to be investigated further however I can't say for certain that this is something we can fix.

@Callum: The Affinity applications don't handle comments or annotations made to PDF files, or (I think) form data that a user fills in. 

Perhaps this is just another example of that?

You can print a PDF file containing stamps (= normally curve objects), even from within a browser like Chrome, supporting printing (saving) to PDF, and then open the resulting printed PDF using any app that can open PDFs for editing, like below Affinity Designer:
