atrueresistance
Hello, I recently purchased the Boox Tab Ultra C . Hand written notes are saved to any cloud provider you want as a PDF. The PDF does not render correctly when opening in Affinity designer, but loads correctly in Chrome or other programs. Here is how chrome renders it. Staff Callum Posted June 7, 2023 Staff Share Posted June 7, 2023 Hi atrueresistance, There seems to be something strange happening with this PDF file as it renders in Illustrator the same way it does in Affinity. I will log this with our developers to be investigated further however I can't say for certain that this is something we can fix. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
walt.farrell
@Callum: The Affinity applications don't handle comments or annotations made to PDF files, or (I think) form data that a user fills in. Perhaps this is just another example of that? That is what those "characters" actually are. walt.farrell
lacerto
You can print a PDF file containing stamps (= normally curve objects), even from within a browser like Chrome, supporting printing (saving) to PDF, and then open the resulting printed PDF using any app that can open PDFs for editing, like below Affinity Designer:
