Christian Tietze Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 - Affinity Designer 2.1.0 - macOS 13.3.1 The "Appearance" panel's icons for Add Stroke and Add Fill should change to dark gray/black like the others, but actually stay light gray/white-ish. See screenshot. I restarted the app already after switching to light mode. Old Bruce 1 Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Welcome to the forums @Christian Tietze, Nice catch. I don't understand the use of low contrast icons and or text in the current designs of User Interfaces. Well it isn't that I don't understand it, more just that I hate it. We wind up missing out on using tools' options because we cannot see that they actually exist. ronnyb 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Dan C Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Hi @Christian Tietze, Welcome to the Affinity Forums & thanks for your report I can confirm this appears to be the same on both Windows and MacOS and therefore I have logged this with our devs to be resolved ASAP. I hope this helps! woefi 1 Quote
