on Beta 2.3.0 still missing this function.

They know the bug hasn't been fixed. If it had been marked as fixed there would be a post from Serif Info Bot here telling us what build of the application fixed it.

Hello again guys. @Dan C this big stills present on version 2.3.12. From my stand point of view this a basic requirement that should be fixed. Don’t you think?

Like a customer I really don’t feel heard to be honest. 🙊

As a customer with considerable experience in prioritizing similar tasks, I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment that this bug needs to be addressed as soon as possible. It is evidently related to one of the most frequently used functionalities in photo editing software, namely image cropping, which is also true for Apple's own iOS photo app. Therefore, it baffles me how Serif Software does not deem it necessary to fix this bug with the utmost urgency.

Therefore, I also understand why you feel unheard as a customer. Such experiences affect both the company's and the product's image, something I am very aware of in my own work. There are many layers and focused efforts involved in prioritization, but it is a better investment than a tarnished reputation or outright customer loss.

Just now, I opened Affinity Photo for a very rare occasion to verify, and I can confirm that the error still persists in the retail version of Affinity Photo on an iPad Pro.

I simply no longer believe that there are any professional graphic designers here. Everything follows suit. Just everything.

I'm very sorry to hear you feel this way, I certainly understand.

I can confirm that I've 'bumped' this issue once again with our team, however I have also escalated this to my manager - who will be raising this further with the development and management teams.

I hope to see this issue fixed shortly in an upcoming beta.
