on Beta 2.3.0 still missing this function.

They know the bug hasn't been fixed. If it had been marked as fixed there would be a post from Serif Info Bot here telling us what build of the application fixed it.

Hello again guys. @Dan C this big stills present on version 2.3.12. From my stand point of view this a basic requirement that should be fixed. Don’t you think?

Like a customer I really don’t feel heard to be honest. 🙊

As a customer with considerable experience in prioritizing similar tasks, I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment that this bug needs to be addressed as soon as possible. It is evidently related to one of the most frequently used functionalities in photo editing software, namely image cropping, which is also true for Apple's own iOS photo app. Therefore, it baffles me how Serif Software does not deem it necessary to fix this bug with the utmost urgency.

Therefore, I also understand why you feel unheard as a customer. Such experiences affect both the company's and the product's image, something I am very aware of in my own work. There are many layers and focused efforts involved in prioritization, but it is a better investment than a tarnished reputation or outright customer loss.

Just now, I opened Affinity Photo for a very rare occasion to verify, and I can confirm that the error still persists in the retail version of Affinity Photo on an iPad Pro.

I simply no longer believe that there are any professional graphic designers here. Everything follows suit. Just everything.

I'm very sorry to hear you feel this way, I certainly understand.

I can confirm that I've 'bumped' this issue once again with our team, however I have also escalated this to my manager - who will be raising this further with the development and management teams.

I hope to see this issue fixed shortly in an upcoming beta.

Hello again Dan. One year has passed and no solution for this basic functionality has been released. Personally I do not know how a company can focus on new functionalities leaving behind or beside the solutions for reported bugs.

i really hope you and your company can take quick action on this matter.

I'm very sorry to hear this issue remains present in the 2.5 update - I can confirm this is still logged as an open bug with the development team at this time.

I appreciate this is very similar to my previous replies above, though unfortunately I can only continue to 'bump' this issue and escalate it internally with the relevant members of staff to request a fix.

I have once again done this for you, as well as requested for my manager to chase this escalation internally, to try and understand when our users can expect this function to be fixed.

I hope this helps & our sincerest apologies once again.

Dear Dan. Just to share with you my formal disappointment and frustration about this issue which remains in latest released version. I feel ignored, obviously not by you but from your company. It’s simple inaceptable.

Hello Alain Dan. How can we as customers get an answer to our requests. It’s a basic functionality!!!

please add your manager to this complaint. It’s just unacceptable to not have a solution or at least an answer. I wonder what would be the result if I begin to ask for help to canvas team and sharing this post as example of the bad customer experience we are having.

waiting for your answer.

We understand your frustration with this issue still remaining unresolved, but can only continue to bump the issue to escalate as mentioned previously, I have done this again for you and will pass your complaint along internally.

As soon as there are any updates to the issue internally the Serif Info bot will automatically reply to this thread with further information.
