I have tried and tried but it keeps crashing when exporting a 430cm x 83cm file.
I finally got the job done with Publischer 1.10.5.x.

I guess this is caused by the image preview, you should make sure to turn it on/off as needed.

I attach the file, it's incomplete, with just a background color, but it still crashes.

Hi @Krima and welcome to the forums...

See whether deleting the mru.dat file resolves your crashing issue when exporting your file in 2.0.4, the file is located here...

Thanks for the answer, even by activating hidden files and folders I can't find that path, and by searching for that file it doesn't seem to exist.

If you select Library from the Go menu in the Finder, accessible by holding the Alt (Option) key, you ‘should’ be able to navigate to the Application Support folder and then the Affinity Publisher 2 folder where the mru.dat file will be located but let us know if not…

Thanks but windows doesn't have Finder. Publisher is installed in WindowsApps, a closed folder that I can't get into

Apologies, I totally missed that you are on Windows...

Do you have any Sections set within your Publisher document?

No, I even tried to create it again. Even without anything, so only with the dimensions set, it crashes on export. With standard size files it doesn't happen. Since this is a large file, and the fact that before the crash I see a lag creating the preview, I guess this is the cause. With the old version (1.10.5.x) of Publisher, exporting is instantaneous and hassle-free.

On macOS using the sample file you uploaded the preview is instant in 2.0.4 and it exports without issue...  What settings are you using for your export?

I'm at a slight loss as this appears to be dimension specific but hopefully someone else running Windows can also take a look at the file you uploaded to see if they experience the same issue exporting... :)

Windows 11 - I loaded your file then exported as 1) a PNG and 2) as a PDF with no issues

Hi Krima,

The MRU file only exists in that location on a Mac so you can disregard that.

Could you please try holding control whilst booting the application and hitting "Reset".

Are there any driver updates available for your GTX 1650?

Thanks for the reply. Nvidia drivers are updated to the latest Studio version of April 13 2023.
I also tried the beta version with the same problem. The only version that doesn't give me large file export problems is the old version of Affity Publisher  1.10.5.x.

I also tried to reset as you suggested but the problem is still there.
