Hi @tanmayswami,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I can confirm that the Affinity apps will utilise your GPU to improve the  rendering speed of your file on the canvas - for example when using filters or adjustments, in order to draw your document as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately the GPU is not used to the same extent when exporting from the Affinity apps, as these files are created using the CPU instead, hence this is at 100% in your screenshot.

I hope this clears things up!

As mentioned above, the app does not use the GPU for exporting - it is used to speed up rendering on the canvas when using filters, adjustments etc. This is expected behaviour and there is no option to change the export to use the GPU at this time.

If you do max gpu usage in export it will work fine...

Please don't mix unrelated requests or questions in the same topic. Mixing makes discussions and tracking confusing and difficult. 

In any case, Google Fonts work, but make sure you install the Static versions, not the Variable versions.
