Laganama Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Hi there, layers compound mode icons (Subtract and Intersect) should be the other way around. Meliora spero 1 Quote Affinity Suite 2.5.7 | Mac mini M4 Pro, 24GB, macOS Sequoia 15.2

Staff MEB Posted April 25, 2024 Staff Posted April 25, 2024 Hi @Laganama, Thanks for raising this up. Somehow it fell off our radar. I will make sure this gets fixed. Laganama 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Laganama Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 This seems to be a much bigger problem for development than I expected… Meliora spero 1 Quote Affinity Suite 2.5.7 | Mac mini M4 Pro, 24GB, macOS Sequoia 15.2
PaulEC Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 it is odd, and a bit worrying, that silly mistakes like this, and elsewhere where icons are missing, for example, take so long to correct. If the Developers choose to ignore this sort of thing, one would hope that the QA team would step in, but apparently not! It has always been like this with Serif. This issue fits perfectly with what we’ve experienced for a decade, both broadly and deeply. Allow me to point out that competitors are producing excellent, up-to-date software— and better. You don’t have to settle for this level. I didn’t expect anything to have changed after months away from the software and forum. And certainly not if everything is still the same. Including the fact that a tiny fraction of the forum's members respond to 99% of all posts. It is possibly the least progressive place I've encountered on the internet, by far. Not an easy feat. Just swap those two icons, Serif, and get your processes and priorities in order. And everything else. How many decades do you need to learn this? Quote Serif, did you foolishly fill the usability specialist role you advertised internally? If so, be transparent with your customers. Continuing without proper UX expertise both insults and affects your entire customer base.
Staff MEB Posted September 9, 2024 Staff Posted September 9, 2024 Hi @Laganama, @PaulEC, @Deperditus Cliens, I’m really sorry for the delay in getting this fixed. Due to reasons beyond my control, I wasn’t able to fulfill what I promised in my previous post. This has nothing to do with the dev team. I’ve made one last attempt to pass the issue directly/privately to them, in the hope that it will finally be resolved. My apologies. PaulEC 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
