Delete shortcut doesn’t work with APub 2.1 Beta Build 5 (1732)

It works on both AP and AD latest beta but not on APub (all personas).

iPad Magic Keyboard (2022) — M1 iPad Pro 11 256 Cellular — iPadOS 16.3.1.

Hey iuli,

I'm not sure if you mean Delete doesn't work to actually delete things or if you mean you're unable to set it as a shortcut.

Either way, Pub 1732 let's me use it to delete objects but I cannot set it as a shortcut.

Photo 1732 does the same - am I missing something?

Hi @Chris B,

I cannot use delete key to delete anything; and now I have this issues with all the apps, not only APub. When I hit the delete key it jumps to Fill in APub, Flood Fill in AD and Move Tool in AP. I can screen-record all the apps acting like said above, I that’s of any help.

(I cannot set it as a shortcut either)

@Chris B, It’s all good now, I’m just dumb. Erasing by mistake shortcuts set the said shortcuts to delete. Please disregard my post — it’s all good, it was my fault. I wish I had seen this 5 minutes earlier.

What language do you have the iPad in and what language do you run the Affinity apps in? I wonder if perhaps there has been a shortcut rebinding issue.

Somehow I missed the last reply. It’s probably not of any help now, but the iPad and all the apps are in English.

At least with the Magic Keyboard, erasing a shortcut will assign the Erase key as shortcut, but in the shortcut list no key is registered (the space for shortcut is left empty). 

I think the Erase key should be  registered as a shortcut, with a symbol, just like any other key. Regards.
