Initial words end character in footnotes

The end character does not work in footnotes. It works only on the first sign. In a regular paragraph, it's OK

I duplicated this in 1320 on macOS Ventura.

Applying Initial Words formatting to footnotes and sidenotes has no effect for the first paragraph of the footnote or sidenote. Subsequent paragraphs in the same note will work correctly.

Applying Initial Words formatting to endnotes will treat the note number as the first word of the paragraph and will apply the Initial Words formatting to it. Otherwise the feature works correctly for endnotes.

I can confirm I have been able to replicate the above and have logged this with our development team, I hope this helps

The issue "Initial Words and Notes do not function as expected " (REF: AFB-7553) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1857".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
