I am creating greeting cards using my own photos. I add text to the document (for the back of the greeting card). It is important that the text Is similar for all my cards. However I seem to be having trouble getting text to appear the same size in different documents even though I have selected the same Gill Sans size 14 and have the text box size the same. I've tried to look into the other sections of the menu i.e. Paragraph, spacing but I'm a bit new to Affinity Photo. Can anyone let me know what I've missed/doing wrong? Can you put me on the right track? Thank you so much!

Hi Fioled,

Welcome to the forum.

You are unable to set a global text settings that will applied to new documents, you can create a blank document with the text setup correctly and save this and re-open as you require it.

We are working on a publishing program and beta for this will be available early next year.

I will check the dpi values, thanks. I have created a template but I was opening older versions of psd, which I forgot to mention! I suspect that the different dpi could be affecting things. Will get onto it. thank you both :)

Hi Darren, on affinity.serif.com/de/about/ the beta is announced for the end of 2016. Which information is correct?

The silence means that the beta will not be available this year?
