Hangman Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Unsure if this has already been mentioned but couldn't find anything... The latest two Beta's .1706 and .1713 have replaced the Preferences button text in the context toolbar with the word Settings which is absolutely fine though the Apple menu on Mac and I assume the Edit menu on Windows still shows the option as Preferences as does the keyboard shortcut. The Preferences/Settings dialogue also no longer has a title where previously it was titled Preferences. Really minor but thought it worth mentioning... Staff Chris B Posted March 1, 2023 Staff Posted March 1, 2023 Hey Hangman, Everything seems to be in order for me. Can you provide a screenshot? I've checked macOS and Windows and everywhere uses Settings over Preferences. The only outstanding (but logged) issue is the dialog no longer has a title on macOS but it is there on Windows. Staff Chris B Posted March 1, 2023 Staff Posted March 1, 2023 Ah, it's apparently OS specific It's fine on Ventura but a bit wonky on previous versions. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Hangman Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 Ah, that explains it, does the OS influence the keyboard shortcut text as well then? 🤔 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
