JamesA Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Still need to honour spot colours in .eps file format .eps is a standard format for distributing logos and other spot colour printed items since the year dot. I've needed this since V1. The colour palettes need to 'stick' with the documents too. I don't want to have to keep resetting my colours. dcr 1 Quote

In that case you need to create a document palette by clicking on the burger menu in the Swatches Panel and selecting Add Document Palette... option. I've been requesting from clients and distributing to clients logos primarily as PDF since about 20 years now. EPS is a relict from a distant past and should finally retire for good. It is not as though eps is not a valid file format just because it is "old". Have you heard that Microsoft Office no longer supports EPS files. From 2017 or 2018, I can't recall. Old Bruce Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 The point is EPS is being honoured by fewer and fewer applications. You, and your clients, will be best served by following loukash's advice. Sooner, rather than later. loukash 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.
