  1. Most of the time i use a dual monitor setup on a Macbook. with the external monitor as the 'lead'. Sometimes i unplug the monitor and use the Macbook pro screen - but when launching Affinity apps the windows are collected on the macbook pro but haven't resized at all. I lose the canvas, the tools and can only see part of the app. The rest appears to be offscreen somewhere. All i can do to resize is to reset the UI every time. Any fix for this?
  2. ok - could be a screen redraw thing - i'm on a dual monitor setup so that's probably not helping much
  3. the element is still slected though - you just can't see that it is
  4. I can edit he gradient just fine - the selection boxes still disappear after editing the gradient
  5. fill / then edit the gradient from the top menu. close then all the selectors disappear.
  6. Designer /latest / Sonoma / Mac / latest Select an object then edit the gradient fill - the selection handles then disappear on everything. Try escape, select none, change to a different too nothing happens all i can do is close and reopen the file to get selection to work again.
  7. aparently 'we're out of date', "update your practices grandad" - is basically the feedback i got.
  8. I think it was a bit of weirdness with the file. - created new file, all good. - opened another older file, all good. so all fine now.
  9. Sure - but i still want to open an .eps and see the spot colours honoured. And vice-versa. some people are still using Adobe right?
  10. Still need to honour spot colours in .eps file format .eps is a standard format for distributing logos and other spot colour printed items since the year dot. I've needed this since V1. The colour palettes need to 'stick' with the documents too. I don't want to have to keep resetting my colours.
  11. Opening a legacy v1 publisher doc - you can't drag a guide. Creating a V2 document - guides are just fine. 2.04 / ventura 13.1
  12. think this is a wider Apple Issue
  13. All Affinity Products. Mac OS Ventura latest version Affinity V2 Opened a V1 file that uses 'superclarendon' font. Affinity reports it as missing. MacOS has the font this in 'supplemental' fonts but is not visible in fontbook. Have installed a copy of Superclarendon into user account fonts Still not visible in Affinity but is available in Apple 'Pages' Have created a new file and tried to use Superclarendon - not available.
