horsetags Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Hi, I can understand the need for charging for V2, but I am only interested in upgrading Photo, but I can only see the full price. It's probably me, but i see &59.99, but not an upgrading discount price What am i doing wrong? 🙂 Thanks for any help Paul Quote

PaulEC Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 The version 1 of APhoto will continue to work exactly as before, so unless there's some reason you need to upgrade now, (e.g. for new features,) I'd suggest waiting for the next sale! horsetags Posted February 9, 2023 Author Posted February 9, 2023 Thanks all, I've been spoilt with my 20 odd year old music program called FL Studio. (originally fruity loops 🙂 that offered the program as a one off payment I purchased it, and I'm still getting free updates over 20 years later, and it's gone through many versions I don't use Photo enough to warrant even buying the upgrade, so will stick with version one I understand that i missed the offer price, but i think the non offer normal price is a bit much for an original owner upgrade price oh well Quote

They know who their own direct customers are, of course, so they could easily offer them an exclusive upgrade discount, but they don’t have any way of offering the same discount to MAS and MS Store customers.
