nezumi
When we use expand stroke on curve with "arrow" (or any other shape) on the ends it results in weird holes - but only on the end of the curve. Beginning is expanded as expected. Here is screenshot to illustrate problem. Designer 2.0.4 on Windows 10.
Paul Mudditt
Same on iPad version, expand stroke has completely different results on V2 from V1, neither seem correct perhaps we should expect no result since they are stroke without fill anyway? nezumi
I dont know how it works on ipad but you seem to have 3 curves there. I am talking about single curve that has "arrows" on the ends added in options of the stroke, not as separate curves. Sorry if thats how it is visualized on the ipad, I only use tablet for reading so I wouldn't know

The results in the layers panel AFTER expand stroke is completely different, in V1 three shape layers appear when there was only a single curve. On V2 one curve results in one curve with a hole in similar as you have shown. So overall similar results to you on iPad version V2 but it was also broken in V1 as well but in a different way. Staff Sean P Posted February 1, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 1, 2023 It looks like in V1, it separated each component out into its own 'Curve' object, and in V2, its attempting a Boolean operation and giving the results you see. I'll get this passed on to development. nezumi
Staff Sean P Posted February 1, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 1, 2023 In the meantime you can use the new 'Layer > Geometry > Fill Holes' option and to fill the holes! Alfred, Paul Mudditt, Old Bruce and 1 other 1
nezumi
Thank you! I was manually filling it, this helps a lot.
