eluengo Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Old documents prepared with AFPub 2.0.3 when opened in 2.0.4 have lost the capability to alter paragraph leading. When done ex novo in a 2.0.4 doc all goes OK. I send two clips to demonstrate the problem. And also an AFPub doc with this problem present. Need to be corrected? carl123 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Select the text then in the Character panel try changing the Leading Override to Auto Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. eluengo Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 Anyway, thank you! Reconstructing the doc in a new doc created with 204 all works correctly (I have this already done). For one only book is no problem.... but if I need to edit older files, this problem will be a nightmare. Emilio Quote

I think Carl was pointing out that the issue was that you set the Leading Override in the Character panel, and as this overrides the Paragraph leading, the document was acting just as you told it to. In other words, it's not a difference between 2.0.3 and 2.0.4, and both releases would have worked the same way for that document.
