NiftyNick Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Hello, I just recently got out of the trial version after using it for awhile. I purchased the Affinity Designer license, but now that I have Affinity Designer 2, the screen flickers/blinks whenever I move anywhere on the canvas. Does anyone know why this would be happening? I am running a 160hz monitor with a GTX 3060, I've attempted to enable/disable G-Sync and that didn't fix it. I have also attempted to reinstall both the gaming and studio drivers for Nvidia, neither fixed the problem. Quote

Staff Lee D Posted February 2, 2023 Staff Posted February 2, 2023 When we've had reports of this happening, turning off G-sync has resolved it for those users. It may be worth trying again perhaps also changing your refresh rate. Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted May 18, 2023 Staff Posted May 18, 2023 The issue "Stuttering/flickering with G-Sync" (REF: AFD-4877) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1799". This fix is in the current customer release. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us Quote
