Hello, I have a problem with affinity photo and affinity designer on an iPad Pro M1 12.3. App Version 2.0.3

Everything worked great yesterday until I installed Designer - it worked for a while until it closed/crashed the app and it’s stuck on “loading configuration” screen when I try to open it again….today wanted to work on Photo and I have the same issue. Tried reinstalling, restarted the iPad…still stuck at the loading screen.

First thing to try is a hard reset of your iPad. This will clear any rubbish stuck in ram that may be affecting startup of the app. Hold the power button off for 5-10 secs. Then restart your iPad by powering on. You should see an Apple logo as the iPad boots up. 
Now try the app again.

Try closing all open apps then do a Forced Restart. Which iPadOS version are you using, if you are using a BETA version please note there is a serious defect in file handling in iPadOS16.3 beta version with Affinity Apps and others.

Hi @Miremi,

Are you still having trouble getting into Affinity?  If so, try opening the app and when you see the splash/loading screen for Affinity, start tapping on the screen and you'll get some options appear to clear user data.  At this screen, you should see Reset User Defaults is enabled and you can just tap on the Reset button.  Does Affinity then load?
