Windows 11 Colored Folder Icons

v2 update includes the addition of a second set of folder icons, 160 new symbols, and more symbol color options (over 3,000 new icon).

These custom Windows icons can be used to replace the Windows 11 default folder icons.

The v2 icon pack includes:

• 2 sets of colored Windows 11 folder icons.
• 200 unique symbol icons, each in 17 colors.

The folder icon shapes are identical to Windows 11 folders, but they can be used in Windows 10.

The icon files (ICO) include the standard Windows icon image sizes. Instructions are included for those unfamiliar with how to change Windows folder icons (it’s easy).

Contents of the ZIP file:

• 55 folder icons (ICO)
• 3,402 symbol icons (ICO)
• 1 instructions and info document (PDF)
• 3 preview images showing all the icons (PNG)

Thank you so much, this is wonderful! I created a DDL file that you can use to change your icons in the same manner as you normally change folder icons in Windows, you just need to make sure wherever the .dll file is being stored does not change or your custom icons will have to be changed again.

Thanks for the kind gesture, but for security reasons we cannot be seen to be distributing DLL files with all the security concerns that entails, (particularly as it is not Digitally Signed). I have removed it from our forums.

I’ve been working on a v2 update to the icons that includes a new set of folder colors and over 140 new symbol icons, each symbol icon in multiple colors (over 3,000 icons total). I should be able to get the update posted here this week… stay tuned.

Hey Brian, signed up just to tell you how great your work is here. It's so hard to find nice looking icons that actually scale properly and fit in with the default Windows 11 system themes. Fantastic job, and thank you for this!
