n_shcherbakov Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 The Rubber Band Mode button works strangely. By default, Rubber Band Mode is disabled when you start AD. Within each working document, the status of this switch can be configured separately and one can assume that the position of this switch is an attribute of a particular file, but it is not: if you close the file and reopen it, the switch state is reset to the default - "OFF". It would be nice to have a general setting for this item in the settings menu. Even cool would be if this button could be assigned to a hotkey (but about this I will write in detail in another topic) Gripsholm Lion, Rudolphus, AlterBrent and 1 other 4 Quote
n_shcherbakov Posted February 28, 2023 Author Posted February 28, 2023 no one replied, but the problem is really annoying: daily infernal suffering 🙂 ddd123, AlterBrent and kagosage 2 1 Quote
Dan C Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Hi @n_shcherbakov, Unfortunately our team don't tend to respond to 'Feedback' posts here on the Affinity Forums, my apologies. However your suggestion will be taken into consideration by our developers to be implemented in a future update. I hope this clears things up n_shcherbakov 1 Quote
n_shcherbakov Posted February 28, 2023 Author Posted February 28, 2023 Hi @Dan C! Thanks for the information! My universe is in balance now 🙂 Quote
vladstudio Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 +1 for the request. I find myself having to turn on Rubber band mode every time on every document. A checkbox in settings – to enable it permanently – would help! Thanks.  ddd123 and kagosage 2 Quote
