joe_l
YES, I am the master of strange findings. 1. Create a document in AD, with Image policy Linked. 2. Drag a vector file from pixabay onto the document. 3. Use Edit in Affinity Photo. Result: In AP an empty layer is shown. 4. Do steps 1. to 3. in Affinity Publisher. Result: In AP the image is shown. What does happen in APu, is that if you place the vector stock image linked, save, close the document and open it again, the image is shown as missing. Maybe due to the fact, that the linked vector stock image resides in a temporary folder. I can confirm the behaviour here. However, this happens to me in Affinity Designer as well as in Affinity Publisher.
Dan C
Hi @joe_l, Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here. On 12/15/2022 at 8:45 AM, joe_l said: 1. I've tested this here in 2.0.3 Windows release version and I'm not seeing the same behaviour, the document is retained between each app for me. Equally, when saving, closing and reopening the document, the linked document is still showing as 'OK' for me in the Resource Manager (though the file is saved to a temp location) 2023-01-17 16-47-13.mp4 Is this behaviour you're still able to replicate please? joe_l
