Hi

Newly added content is linked without this feature being enabled in the preferences.

I have uninstalled all three programs, removed all folders that belong to those programs, and then reinstalled all three programs in hopes that the automatic linking will no longer occur.
Unfortunately without success.

It doesn't matter if I do it via D&D, via the File menu, via My Account, or via the "hamburger" icon of the various categories.

And it doesn't matter, in which programme of the suite I add contend.

Please switch the video to full screen to see what happend.

Content from the Affinity Store, installed via Account, is always Linked. This is intentional.

Content that you install manually follows the Preference setting.

@walt.farrell

As you can see in my video, the corresponding function is switched off. And I add the content via the hamburger menu.

I was responding to the part about using the Account menu, which you also mentioned doing.

No problem.

I may have misunderstood something, too. It is possible that all Affinity Store content is automatically Linked, whether you install via Account or manually.

Can you try with a set of brushes that is not installed, but also did not come from the Affinity Store?

@walt.farrell

It's not just brushes, but all categories (assets, swatches, etc.). It doesn't matter if it's Affinity Store content or from other providers.
For brushes also the ones in .abr format.
