deepblue
Is there a way to create a table with multiple columns in Affinity Designer 1.10.6 or in Affinity Designer 2.0? Or are there plans to add a simple table to Affinity Designer in the future? I use the designer every day and I kinda miss this feature. Thank you for these great programs Quote -- Apple 2020 Mac Mini M1 Chip (16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) Affinity V2 Universallizenz 2.3.1 + always latest beta
walt.farrell
Tables are currently a function of Publisher, not of Designer. Serif generally does not comment on future plans, but if I had to guess, I would guess they will remain exclusive to Publisher. StudioJason
In Designer, none specifically that I know of. But if you have Publisher, can open the document there…create your tables and switch to Designer Persona to work. deepblue

I noticed you can also copy a table from Publisher and paste it into Designer if that's a better workflow for anyone. Seems to retain all the functionality. Maybe down the road they'll include tables in Designer. (Although it's typically not the place to work with tables, I can see uses for it.) That said, I love that owning the full suite/universal license that allows this is affordable. deepblue

If not needing the main Personas inherent in Photo or Designer ….Tone Mapping, Develop, Liquify, Export (for Slices)…Publisher with Personas is almost the all in one, at least on iPad…just have to own all three still. _Th
deepblue
Thank you for the quick help. I'm really happy with Affinity V2 universal license. Tonight I'll try to create a table in Affinity Pubisher and copy it to Affinity Designer. I'll see if there's a short youtube video about it. Can anyone tell if Affinity Designer will also run on an Apple iPad 9th Gen (2021) 10.2" 64GB? Or does this only work on an iPad with an M1 silicon processor? Many Thanks Quote -- Apple 2020 Mac Mini M1 Chip (16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) Affinity V2 Universallizenz 2.3.1 + always latest beta

I’m sure it will. I have it running on a 2016 iPad Pro. Here is the official compatibility list from Serif’s site.
