Color Balance adjustment - Shadow tonal range bug

Recommended Posts

Ok, in the end I made some test and can answer the question myself now:

Affinity Photo 2.0.4

A. If "use my settings" in Windows color management is on, the profiles are read from "user settings"

B. If "use my settings" in Windows color management is off, the profiles are read from "system settings"

My apologies, I had misunderstood your original question!

That is how I understand the app to use these settings, thanks for sharing your findings :)

As confirmed here, the Affinity apps perform "document-to-screen colour profile conversion. This means that the colour values (or ‘numbers’ as we might refer to them) are translated from their initial document values based on the current display profile" - other apps do not perform this conversion, and therefore only affinity may be affected.

I hope this clears things up :)
