[Solved] Pricing v2 Private use more expensive than Multiuse?

Recommended Posts

Hello at Affinity,

for a start i want to say how happy i am with v1 already. And very curious what v2 ist bringing. I will update for sure! The pricing is really great!

When i looked at the different licenses i noticed the private one for 119 € the Company for 2 user  107 € – that made me wonder...

I am a freelancer and created tiny little sideproject as a hobby together with my wife – so i was wondering if it is a good idea to crossupdate to the even better value 2 people license.

Can you explain? (I searched the forum but could not find the answer)

kind regards

Stephanie

Hopefully someone from Serif will be able to answer your question, but I was wondering if this price is actually per seat, rather than for two. I can’t actually find this info, any chance you could post a link to where you saw it?

Thanks

EDIT: As I suspected, the reduced price is "per licence", so if you need two licences you double the price.

And the minimum purchase quantity for the volume licences is at least two.
However, the favourable price for the multiple licence is put into perspective, as the single (private) universal licence may be installed on as many devices as are used and controlled in the private household.

Is there a way to close the topic? Other than tag it with SOLVED?

No, but you could just leave it alone. It may be useful for someone else later.
