Beach Ball on Export

Occasionally, when i attempt to export, the program will beach ball before i can click export and the only way to get the program to respond is force quit and reopen. this issue is one both Photo and Designer Version 2. and it was also present on Photo and Designer Version 1.

Can you please confirm the version of MacOS that you are running and does this happen on all the export options and are you trying to export locally or an external drive or cloud service.

I’ve seen this too, specifically when trying to create a new folder for my export files on my internal hard drive (New Folder Button). Suppose it could have been a rights management problem, as the issue seems to have vanished now (macOS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400), MacBook Pro 16'' Intel 2019).

macOS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400), It's only happens in the Export Persona (PNG and JPG are the only two file types I export in, I haven't test the others), I'm exporting to a local drive. 

 

It might be worth noting I'm using an M1 Max MacBook Pro.

it has gotten to the point that every time i want to export a project it beach balls and i must force quit Designer and reopen it to export my project.
