Staff stokerg Posted December 2, 2022 Staff Posted December 2, 2022 Hi @HarryMcGovern, I'm trying this on our iPad Mini 6 here in the office and this is working fine. I can see you have show touches enabled but can you just confirm when the flickering starts, you don't have your finger (or Apple Pencil) on any part of that dialog? Could you attach your .afphoto file and i'll try replicating the issue with your file. Quote

It was also causing other problems. I’ve dumped about 99% of my iCloud onto Dropbox, removed any apps I haven’t used in a long time and generally did a big cleanup. Now everything is working as it should. No flickering that I can detect. I don’t know how the Affinity apps relate to storage, but it’s now obvious that anything over ¾ full will start to degrade performance badly. So in short. I think I’ve solved it. Thanks. However, we had another report of this happening here and i've just been able to replicate it. You have to hold the iPad at an angle and the whole interface will flicker, this seems to be more sensitive on the iPad Mini 6 but also affects other models of iPad. Quote

I’m glad it’s not just me. I haven’t revisited that issue since, but I’m sure it’s fixable. For now I’ll wait to see what happens. If it repeats I’ll get back. Quote iPad Mini 6. 256GB.
