@ Berric

I'm a Windows user, but I think you will find under File -> Import content on Mac too.

Sorry, lost in translation. 😷

That has never happened to me, but it seems clear from your video that something odd has happened to you.

Can you say anything about what you were doing just before this that might have caused dragging the Assets to stop working?

What happens if you double-click on the asset and then click on the document, rather than dragging it?

Hi Walt.farrell

this weird thing happened to me with the tools too, they crashed (unfortunately i don't have the video of this). As for the issue at hand, I wasn't doing anything in particular, it just happened so suddenly. for your last question, I couldn't do anything anymore because I had to restart Affinity Photo.

Both crash situations, I could only restart and nothing else. This rarely happens

it happened again, and double clicking on the asset and then click on the document, so it works

Thanks.

Are you saying that, again, you could not drag from Assets, but this time you could double-click the asset and then click in the document?

If so, that will probably be useful information for Serif when they look at this problem.

It's not something I can replicate on any of our systems, for me Assets never fail to click drag from the panel onto the canvas. If there is any workflow that you do to trigger this please let me know and I'll test again.

It shouldn't make a difference to this process, it didn't on my systems but you could try with Hardware Acceleration OFF.
