V2 Photos Install Problem

Installed V2 Photos  and get the attached screen. What is this? Don't see any instructions for response. What am I missing?

It's the new document window. So choose any of the items from the middle column & click "Create" or change any of the settings if you want.

New is highlighted on the left. There's a Create button on the bottom. 

You might watch some of the Tutorials, or the What's New in V2 section of the application Help (in the app, or online at https://affinity.help both of which will give some ideas about dealing with the new way things are done in V2.

Thanks to all. Going to tutorials. Just surprised at first screen. Thought I did something wrong.....did, panicked  too soon!

It does seemingly come at you in an intense manner at load. I have noticed that.

FWIW, if you want you can untick "Show at Startup" when you are on any of the categories where that option appears & it won't show when you launch the app.
