I'll start by saying I'm a Windows user, not a Mac user. But I do not see a black box covering anything there. I think that Quit is the end of that particular set of shortcuts. Are you perhaps wanting something from one of the other "sections" of the shortcuts, which you can reach from the pulldown I've highlighted from your screenshot? That would be the pulldown that currently reads Photo in the screenshot (the top pulldown). Look at what you have in the top, it is the Affinity Photo 2 menu, choose something from that dropdown menu to see the other menus.
