csp
when the size of the tool is changed with alt / cmd / drag than after the first but sometimes after the second or third use the tool is displayed as arrow instead of the round outside border or content, hitting the space bar brings the correct form back. who the size is changed via the menu everything works fine. ventura on m1 ultra PSA.: just discovered the bug is also related to the tool size, bellow 100px it works ! csp
the problem is independent from the mac hardware ( can reproduce it on 3 different Macs, m1 and intel ) and it is very annoying hope we see a fix soon
Ron P.
If I understand your question/issue, these changes are happening while dragging your brush? If so this is by design, not a bug. To change the Width & Hardness, while holding down Cmd + Ctl, click drag the brush up or down to change Hardness, left-right to change the Width Press the Left Mouse Button while holding down the Modifiers, and it changes the controls. Next while dragging Up/Down you change Shape & Spacing. Up/Down changes the Shape, left-right changes the Spacing. Press the Left Mouse Button again and you can change the Rotation. I tried finding the information in the Help files and possibly a tutorial and could not. So here's a quick video going through each one. 2022-11-27 05-48-31.mp4 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Ron P.
Ah, ok, I see that does appear to be a bug. It also must be another one of those MAC only bugs. I'm not able to replicate that on Win10.
